Which venues do creators already post about?
An on-trade activation needs two things: a venue people want to go to, and someone who will tell their audience about it. Picking both from a spreadsheet of follower counts misses the point. The creators worth working with are the ones who already go to the venue and post about it of their own accord.
Dashmote shows, per outlet, the creators who mentioned it in their posts and how big their audience is. Turn it around and you see which venues in a city draw the most creator attention.
What you see per outlet
| Field | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| Creators | The accounts that posted about the outlet |
| Reach | The audience size of each creator |
| Mentions | How often each creator posted about the venue, and when last |
| Topic | What the post was about: an event, a new menu, the mood |
Creator mentions sit in the Social Signals tab with the outlet's own posts; see outlet social media data.
Worked example: picking a venue for a launch night
Take a trade marketer for a spirits brand who wants one launch venue in her city and filters high-fit cocktail bars by creator mentions.
| Outlet | Creators who posted | Largest reach | Latest mention | Pick |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Rooftop bar | 6 | 85,000 | Last month | Launch venue, invite two of the six creators |
| Speakeasy | 3 | 40,000 | This month | Second event |
| Hotel bar | 1 | 12,000 | Last year | Not this time |
The rooftop bar gets the launch, with two creators who already post about it on the guest list.
Limits, stated plainly
Creator mentions come from public posts that tag or name the venue, so a creator who visited without saying where shows nothing. A venue with no mentions is not seen by creators online, which does not mean guests do not like it. Reach is the creator's audience size at the time of reading, not the views of one post, and some creators repost the same visit more than once.
Frequently asked questions
How do I find which influencers mention a restaurant?
Open the outlet in Dashmote and go to the Social Signals tab; creator mentions list the creators who posted about it, with their reach and the date of their latest mention.
Can I find venues that creators post about most?
Yes, filter or sort a list by creator mentions to see which outlets in an area draw the most creator attention.
What does reach mean here?
Reach is the size of a creator's audience on the account they posted from. It is not a count of people who saw the specific post.
Do you contact creators for us?
No, Dashmote shows who posted about the venue; your team or agency decides who to approach and how.
Which social networks are covered?
Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. Dashmote reads public creator posts on those networks that tag or name the venue, and links them to the outlet record.

For sales leaders: the business case
Creator data turns activation choices from guesswork into a ranked list.
- Venues with a built-in audience. Run events where creators already go, so the activation is seen beyond the room.
- Creators who are credible. Invite people who already post about the venue rather than paying strangers to discover it.
- A reason for the rep to call. "Creators love your terrace, let's run a night together" is a strong opener for an owner.
