Where your products are listed on delivery apps, and where a competitor sits instead
Delivery availability tracking shows, outlet by outlet, whether your products are listed and orderable across 15M+ storefronts in 60+ countries. See every outlet that sells your category, which of them list you, where a competitor sits instead, and where a listing has disappeared or, on apps that mark items unavailable, gone out of stock.

Is my product listed in every outlet that should have it?
Start from the right denominator. "Every outlet" is not every restaurant on the app: a sushi bar that sells no soft drinks is not a gap. The useful universe is the set of outlets that list your category, for example every outlet with at least one cola, energy drink or bottled water on its delivery menu.
Against that universe, three lists do most of the work:
- Listed: outlets that show at least one of your products.
- Gap: outlets that sell the category but none of your products.
- Competitor-only: gap outlets where a named competitor is listed. These are the easiest conversations, because the outlet already sells the category.
Availability KPIs with formulas
| KPI | Formula | What it tells you |
|---|---|---|
| Numeric distribution on delivery | outlets listing your brand divided by outlets listing the category | How wide your delivery presence is |
| Weighted distribution | sum of the weights of outlets listing your brand divided by the sum of weights of all category outlets | Whether you are present in the outlets that matter most |
| Core range availability | core products listed in an outlet divided by core products expected there | Whether outlets carry the full range, or one product |
| In-stock rate | listings shown as orderable divided by all listings observed, on apps that mark items unavailable | How often a listed product can actually be bought |
| Delisting count | outlets that listed your product last period and no longer do | Where you are losing ground |
For weighted distribution, pick a weight you can defend and keep it fixed: the number of items on the outlet's menu, or its number of ratings, are common proxies for outlet size. Numeric and weighted distribution together tell you whether gaps are in small outlets or large ones.
How do I know my product is out of stock on a delivery app?
Delivery apps show unavailability in two ways. Some keep the item on the menu but grey it out or mark it sold out. Others remove the item until it is back. The first is easy to count; the second looks like a delisting. In our data the item-level unavailable flag is shown on Uber Eats, Lieferando, Thuisbezorgd.nl and Wolt; on other apps an out-of-stock shows up as a gap in the menu. On Lieferando in Germany, for example, 40% of restaurants with a drinks section had drinks marked unavailable on the day of the September 2026 check (Just Eat data).
The way to separate them is time. An item marked unavailable is an out-of-stock on that date. An item that disappears and returns within a few checks is a temporary gap. An item that stays absent across consecutive checks is treated as a delisting and lands on the delisting list with the date it was last seen.
How fast you see it depends on the refresh cadence for your market, currently monthly.
Find the gaps city by city
Gap lists are most useful when they are short and specific. Filter by city, outlet type and platform, then ask a plain question: which burger outlets in this city sell a cola but not ours, and which of them list a competitor?
Examples of gap questions teams use every week:
- Which independents added the category this month but not our brand?
- Where is our brand listed on one app but missing on another for the same outlet?
- Which outlets list our product without an image or with the wrong name?
For venues that also serve guests on site, connect the delivery gap with on-premise brand tracking on the same outlet record.

Worked example: your brand in one city
Take one city where 1,000 outlets list at least one soft drink on a delivery app. Your brand is listed in 620 of them, so its numeric distribution on delivery is 620 divided by 1,000, which is 62%.
Of the 380 gap outlets, 240 list a rival brand. 170 of those 240 are independents and 70 belong to small local groups. Weighted by menu size, your brand's distribution is 71%, higher than its numeric distribution, so the gaps sit mostly in smaller outlets.
| List | Outlets | Next step |
|---|---|---|
| Listed, all core products | 410 | Monitor |
| Listed, partial range | 210 | Range conversation |
| Gap, rival brand listed | 240 | Win-back list |
| Gap, no soft drink brand named | 140 | New listing list |
A month later, the same view shows how many of the 240 moved to listed, and whether any of the 620 dropped out.
Frequently asked questions
Which restaurants sell my brand on Uber Eats?
The restaurants that sell your brand on Uber Eats are the ones whose delivery menu lists at least one of your products, and they can be listed outlet by outlet for every covered city. The same list shows which category outlets do not list you and which list a competitor instead.
How do I know if my product is out of stock on a delivery app?
Your product is out of stock on a delivery app when it is shown as unavailable or sold out (Uber Eats, Lieferando, Thuisbezorgd.nl and Wolt mark items this way), or when it disappears from the menu and comes back. Checking the same outlets on a fixed cadence separates a short out-of-stock from a real delisting.
What is numeric distribution on delivery apps?
Numeric distribution on delivery apps is the share of outlets that list your brand among all outlets that list your category on those apps. Weighted distribution applies the same idea but gives larger outlets more weight.
How fast do you see a delisting?
A delisting is visible after the next refresh in which the product is absent, and confirmed when it stays absent across consecutive checks. The refresh cadence for your market is monthly.
Can I compare my distribution with a competitor brand?
Yes. The same outlets, cities and dates are measured for every brand in the category, so your numeric and weighted distribution can be shown next to any competitor's, together with outlets won and lost by each.
Can I track product availability on Uber Eats, Deliveroo and Just Eat at the same time?
Yes, in cities where each platform is covered. Because an outlet can list on several apps, you can see whether a gap is on one platform only or on all of them.

When the question is whether to invest, these are the three points to bring:
- Distribution you can measure: a delivery equivalent of numeric and weighted distribution, per city and per platform, with a date on every figure.
- Lost sales found early: delistings and out-of-stocks show up within one refresh cycle instead of at the next trade census.
- Focused field and account effort: win-back and new-listing lists go straight to the people who can act on them.
