AI for on-premise sales: which outlets to visit, and why
AI for on-premise sales reads what is public about each bar, restaurant and cafe and tells your reps which outlets to visit and why; Dashmote's AI had scored 20M+ venues for customers. Your reps spend less time on research and more time with the people behind the bar.

What the AI reads before your rep walks in
The AI checks what a good rep would check before a visit, across a whole territory at once. Its sources are public: venue photos, menus, reviews, websites, social posts, map listings and delivery listings.
- Menus. The brands named on the drinks list and menu card, whether your category is there, and whether a competitor holds the spot. See menu data.
- Public venue photos. The room, the bar and, where one is visible, a cooler or brand signage. See cooler detection.
- Delivery listings. Which delivery apps the venue sells through, and what it lists there.
- Reviews and social posts. How active the venue is, and what guests talk about. See review analysis.
- Venue profile. Channel, cuisine, price level, opening hours, and whether the venue is independent or part of a group.
What it gives you: a fit score with the reason
You describe the account you want in plain words, for example "cocktail bars with a late licence and a premium spirits list". The AI scores each outlet in the territory from 0 to 100 against that description and the outlet record shows what sits behind it: the competitor's gin on the menu, the cocktail list, the independent owner. A rep can check the reason and trust the list, or spot a wrong venue type and change the description.
You can also ask an AI analyst in plain words, such as "Which independent bars in the north of the city list a competitor's gin and not ours?" The answer is an outlet list you can check, sort and export. The lead score glossary entry explains how teams turn scores into tiers.
Reps get time back for people
Most reps chose the job because they like talking to owners and bar managers, not sitting behind a laptop. Those owners get visits and calls every day, so a rep has to arrive with something relevant to say.
The AI does the research: which doors to knock on, what is on the menu, what the venue already pours, whether it also sells through delivery apps. The rep does the part only a person can do, the conversation at the bar. The planner keeps the desk work: turn scores into A, B and C tiers, assign territories and plan the week's visits with territory planning.
What this is, and what it is not
It is the data and AI layer behind your team's tools: scored outlets, the reasons behind each score, and an analyst you can ask.
It is not a CRM. Dashmote works alongside your CRM or field-sales app by file or API; a light mobile workspace for reps (visit lists) is available as an optional add-on. Visits, orders and call notes stay in the field-sales app your reps already use, from tools such as Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud, Repsly or Pepperi. Scored lists reach those systems by file or API delivery into your CRM, with current accounts marked by CRM matching.
It is not a general-purpose chatbot either. Any assistant can produce a ranked list; without menus, photos and delivery listings behind it, it has no reason to show. The value is in what the AI reads, which is why every score comes with its reason.

Frequently asked questions
What is the best AI tool for field sales in CPG or beverages?
The best AI tool for field sales is one that knows the outlets your reps sell into: what is on each menu, which brands a venue already pours and whether it sells on delivery apps. Field-sales apps run visits and orders; Dashmote is the AI and data layer that tells reps which outlets to visit and why, and it works alongside those apps.
How can AI prioritise which outlets my reps should visit?
AI prioritises outlets by scoring each one from 0 to 100 against the account you describe, using menus, photos, delivery listings, reviews and the venue profile. Turn the scores into A, B and C tiers, mark your current customers with CRM matching, and reps start at the top of the list.
Which AI assistant can tell my reps which outlets to visit next?
Dashmote's AI analyst can: ask it in plain words, such as which independent bars in a territory list a competitor and not you, and it returns an outlet list with the reasons, ready to export.
Can I see why an outlet got its score?
Yes. The reason is shown next to each score, for example a competitor's brand on the menu or a cocktail list that fits your range, so a rep can check it before the visit.
Will AI replace my sales reps?
No. The AI takes over the research before the visit; the relationship with the owner and the conversation at the bar stay with the rep.
How often are scores updated?
Scores are recomputed on the latest outlet data each time your model runs, so venues that stop trading leave the list, new openings are scored and menu changes move a venue up or down the list.

For sales leaders: the business case
The AI earns its place when three things change, measured on your own team.
- More of each rep's week at the door. Research moves to the AI, so visit time goes to the venues that fit.
- One standard across the team. Every rep works from the same scores and reasons, so territory reviews compare like with like.
- Start tomorrow. Off the shelf, with no implementation project: test it on one territory first, and see our pricing page for how it scales.
